Facing Death

We understand death for the first time when he puts his hand upon one whom we love. I came to realize that you will never know when earth will give you up, so live life to the fullest, be what you are, be satisfied, and become what you are capable of becoming. Some people are so afraid to die that they never begin to live. I'm not afraid of death. It's the stake one puts up in order to play the game called life. I shall die of having lived; I should have loved, prospered, and touched lives of other people. These are the ingredients for my well lived life.

Love, the most vulnerable feeling; before death, I want to experience the glory of love. You can close your eyes to things you don't want to see, but you can't close your heart to the things you don't want to feel. As people say, loving and being loved back is the greatest feeling you’ll ever feel. I would want to experience this, have a husband who will love me, care for me and live with me, for better or for worse, until death do us part. I dream of having a happy ending with my one true love.

Prosperity, it’s every person’s dream; only when man's life comes to its end in prosperity can one call that man happy. I dream of becoming prosperous before I die. I want to see the results of what I have done in my life; I want to reap the sows of my harvest. I dream of becoming prosperous not only for myself but for my future family. It is always best to know that after living a prosperous life there would be other people who could benefit from your job well done. I want to give the best.

Lastly, I live not only for myself but for others as well. You have wasted your life if you only lived for yourself. I would want to touch lives of other people before I kiss death. I want to leave an everlasting mark on their hearts. It is a wonderful girt to know how you inspire other people, how you have helped them in your own way. I want to be a blessing to other people, an inspiration, and the reason behind their smile.

This is what my life would be, a life full of love, prosperity and inspiration. Your life on earth is merely a dress rehearsal for another but still you should make the best out of it. Life is God’s gift to us, what we make of our lives is our gift to God. Remember, life is about trusting your feelings, taking chances, losing and finding happiness, appreciating the memories, and learning from the past. Life is too short. Live, love, laugh.
